Visit to Nava Brindhavan, Karnataka

Visit to Nava Brindhavan, Karnataka

Hampi-Anegundhi, the twin cities:

Hampi, located on the bank of Tungabadra river, was THE richest city of the world in its times and now it is known as the ruined city of Vijayanagara empire. It is said that the devastation went on for 6 months but is very beautiful even after so much devastation
On the opposite shore of Tungabadra, Anegundhi town is full of sacred places and ancient temples (most of them connected with Ramayana), Rayar mutts and the Brindhavanas of great Madhwa saints.
Both Hampi and Aneguni regions are collectively known as the Kishkintha of Ramayana. The whole Kishkinta kandam of Ramayana is based out of this region.
Nava Brindhavan is a beautiful island between the two branches of Tundabadra in between Hampi and Anegundhi.

Google map location of Nava Brindavan

Nearest railway station is Hospet, from where Hampi is about 10 kms. Nearest Airports are Hubli and Kurnool (New Airport opened in 2021 and so only limited flights).

Read my following detailed articles to cover the entire Hampi and Anegundi regions:

It will take more than 5 days to visit all the places of Hampi and Anegundhi for serious travellers.

Update from Mar 2022 trip:

Bridge connectivity between Hampi and Anegundi:
River Tundabadra is flowing in between Hampi and Anegundi and so you need a bridge to travel across. There are 3 bridges and 2 are not in use.

  1. An ancient Vijayanagara bridge connection that had been destroyed due to natural calamity or invasion
    11a.Ancient Broken Bridge
  2. A modern day unfinished bridge at Thalavari Gottha which was started around 1993, finished 90% but was ‘suspended’ for the reason that this will enable heavy vehicle flow to Hampi which will spoil the city. After my 2008 trip, this bridge work was started again in May 2009 but the scaffolding collapsed killing several workers, thus stalling the work. May be it is His wish not to complete the bridge!  So this remains unfinished in 2022 and I think there is no plan to revive it (Photos of the incomplete bridge from my 2008 trip).
    IMG_3557 Hampi-Anegundhi (unfinished) Bridge
  3. Luckily, yet another new bridge called Bukkasaagara bridge has been built in 2017 (Modi ji has to come even for this to happen!) which is now in full use. This bridge reduces the travel between Hampi and Anegundi from 48 kms/ 1.5 hours (through Hampi-Kamalapur-Kambli-Gangavathi-Anegundhi)  to just 20 kms/ 30 mins. With this new bridge, now people can go back and forth between Hampi and Anegundi to cover the entire region. So, after 2017, people who plan for Nava Brindavana dharshan are lucky to visit the Ramayana places of whole Kishkinta as well.
    IMG_5531 IMG_5062a

So, now you can stay either at Hospet (modern lodges are available) or Hampi (decent homestays are there in congested streets, no lodges are allowed being a heritage city) or Anegundi (only few options like Sri  Raghavendhra Mutt and 2 homestays). We stayed 1 day at a resort close to Hampi, 2 days at a Hampi homestay and 1 day at Anegundi homestay during the 2022 trip.

Mar 2008 Trip:
As soon as we reached the hotel, we immediately started off to Nava Brindhavan by 4 PM.  First we were confused by different distance details given by different people. Some said it is 50 km (since the Bukkasaagara bridge was not there at that time) and some said it is 15 kms and yet both of them were correct! Additionally, we had the bottleneck of the coracle ride getting closed by 5:30/ 6 PM. We didn’t have enough time to analyse/ discuss etc., and at one point we became so helpless that we left it to the car driver himself to choose the way he wants. Finally he took the shortest path where one can see only Nava Brindhavan and it was all one could have done if started by 4 PM and the driver did the right thing indeed.

Hampi side river crossing:

It was a coracle ride from Hampi side. The river crossing is shortest (about 5 minutes) in this route but slightly unsafe with coracle ride. We have to walk for about 200 meters. Use this if you stay at Hampi and want to visit Navabrindavan and come back. For coracle ride, call a lady by name Ramzanamma @ 8394204380. In 2008 we had to walk across banana fields and narrow paddy field paths to reach the starting point of the coracle ride but in 2022 trip, we saw a good cement ride till the starting point of the coracle ride and 4 wheelers can go straight to this starting point.

Anegundi side river crossing:

The ride from Anegundi side possibly could be safer with boat ride. (I had come from Hampi side only both in 2008 and in 2022) – use this if you want to see so many other sacred places of Anegundi as well.

Mar 2008 Trip:
We started by 4 PM from Hospet, took the road travel for about 45 minutes, took the boat ride for about 10 minutes and entered Nava Brindhavan by 5:30 PM. We had been just lucky to be in time since the priest had left immediately after completing the pooja for us.

Way to Nava Brindhavan Have to walk from here

This is the view from Hampi side and we have to take the coracle ride from here only.View from Hampi side

We have to walk for about 200 meters through some unconventional paths (we had 4 senior citizens but no problem) after reaching the Nava Brindhavan shore.

Nava Brindhavan is located in an island between two branches of Thungabadra in an awesome location. It houses the Brindavanas of nine great Madhwa acharyars in the lineage of Sri Madhwacharya, the founder of the Dwaita or dualism tenets. The brindavans are called the “Jeeva Brindhavans” since they are considered still alive and are resting eternally there. There is a yellow mark around the Brindhavans indicating the border into which we are not supposed to go and disturb the saints. There is a Tamil board saying not to go beyond the yellow mark (meaning lots of Tamils are visiting this place).

The nine sacred saints, in their order are (the periods given in bracket are the period during which they headed the Mathwa peeta) :

  1. Sri Padmanabha Theerthar, the prime sishya of Sri Madhvacharyar (1317-1324)
  2. a) Sri Jaya Theerthar (1365-1388)
    b) Sri Raghu Variyar, Guru of Raghothama Theerthar whose Brindhavan is at Thirukkoyilur near Thiruvannamalai (1502-1537)
  3. Sri Kaveendhra Theerthar (1392-1398)
  4. Sri Vaageesa Theerthar (1398-1406)
  5. Sri Vyasaraja Theerthar (1447-1539), Raja guru of Krishna Deva Raya and the next avatar of Brhalatha and the earlier avatar of Sri Raghavendhra
  6. Sri Srinivasa Theerthar (1539-1564)
  7. Sri Rama Theerthar (1564-1584)
  8. Sri Suseendhra Theerthar, Ragavendhra swami’s guru (1614-1623)
  9. Sri Govindha Odeyar (1534)

Sacredness of Nava Brindhavan:

  • Each and every Brindhavan, by itself is very sacred and had they been located in different places also, every place would have become very sacred and popular on its own. Now, if all of them are concentrated in one single place, a place chosen by nine great saints in a period of about 300 years, you can understand the sacredness of the place.
  • Anegundhi is the birth place of Sri Hauman, the avatar of Sri Madhwar in the previous yugas and so there is no surprise that Sri Padmanabha Theerthar, the 1st sishya of Sri Madhwar and other Madhwa saints chose this place.
  • The brindhavan of Sri Vyasaraja Theerthar is found at the center of the place. Though he comes in the middle in the order, the others who brindhavanised before him left the central place for him for some reasons. Sri Vyasarajar, the Rajaguru of Krishna deva raya is considered the next avatar of Brahalatha and the previous avatar of Sri Raghavendhra Swamy. The place where Sri Vysarajar is brindhavanised is considered the place where Brahalathar had penanced in the Grutha yuga to cleanse the sins for being instrumental in killing his father Hiranya kasibu. Vyasaraja stayed at Hampi-Anegundhi for nearly 40 years before, during and after the Krishnadevaraya period. This is the place between Tara parvatham and the Chakra theertham of Kishkintha

Other shrines of Nava Brindhavan:

On one side of the Nava Brindhavan, there is an elevated platform that houses a small Ranganathar shrine, an Anjaneyar shrine and a cave between them.

  • The Anjaneyar is called Jagrathai Hanumar and seen with Ravana’s son Akshaya Kundran under his feet.
  • The Ranganathar shrine is having Ranganathar in the bed of Adhiseshan with Thayar standing separately by his leg side.
  • The cave in between the two shrines is where Brahalathar is considered to have stayed.

Jagrathai Hanuman shrine

One the other side of NavaBrindhavan there is a shrine of Avadharathraya Hanumar.
Vayu Bhagwan took the avatar of

  • Sri Hanumar in the Theertha yuga to do Rama seva
  • Beeman in Dhwabara yuga to do Krishna seva and
  • Sri Madhwar in the Kaliyuga to do Vedavysa seva

So, the Hanumar here is seen with the Hanumar face, a big shoulder indicating Beema and with the veda plam leaves bundles in hand indicating Madhwar. Also, Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar is present at the back of Hanumar and He can be noticed only during Deepa aradhana etc.,

I knew about Nava Brindhavan mainly through ‘Kumdham Jothidam’ where the Author A.M.R is suggesting this place for almost all kinds of problems as a parihara sthalam. Also this finds a sure place in all the spiritual tours around Hampi, Manthralaya, Shiridi etc.,

Needless to say, the ambience and the sacredness of the place had given us immense peace and pleasure when we came out.

Prayer procedures:

  • It is customary and recommended to light 9 ghee lamps (get the pure ghee from your known vendor, don’t buy the adulterated ghee from any random shop) for Nava Brindavan, 1 ghee lamp for Sri Ranganathar and 1 ghee lamp for Avadharathraya Hanumar in the exclusive place in front of Sri Ranganathar shrine
  • In the same way, you can do 11 circumambulation, one for Sri Ranganathar, one for Sri Avadharathraya Hanumar and the remaining 9 for the Acharyars
  • There are various kinds of sevas at Nava Brindavana, details given in the photo below. You can do any seva right from 200 Rs to around 5000 Rs of Sarva Samarpana Seva that includes all abhishegams, archanas and vasthra samarpana. Pls inform and pay at the Anegundi Raghavendhra Mutt prior to the seva.

Before you visit:

  • Please be warned that Nava Brindavan can be visited only on good weather, when there is no rain or flood in Tungabadra. Nava Brindavana is completely submerged in water atleast for a month in an year. So check the whether before you visit.
  • Before the trip, call up Sri Ragavendhra Mutt at Anegundi for the full details like accommodation, seva details, boat ride etc.,
Latest photos from my Mar 2022 trip:
3a. Sri Raghavendhra Mutt 3e. Sri Raghavendhra Mutt
  • Read my 3 articles on Anegundi and Hampi (the links are given at the beginning of this article). Anegundi is the Kishkinta of Ramayana period and there are so many sacred places in Anegundi that are connected with Ramayana.
  • Diagonally opposite the Ragavendhra mutt, Triplicane, Chennai, there is a divine shop at Thirumala flats (phone no: 42663545/ 42663546) selling the Nava Brindhavan DVD and book by Sri Amman Sathyanarayanan. It’s a must to watch this DVD fully before your trip. Even if you don’t go, pls watch the DVD and you will feel as if you are visiting the holy place. (Unfortunately I came to know about the DVD and the book only after the trip and I have missed out all the ancient temples and sacred places of Anegundhi)
  • Manjunath @ 09449284490 / 09449653598, an authorised ASI guide, is a good contact who can help in all fronts like lodging, food, dharshan etc., for Hampi and Anegundi

2008 Trip:
There is also a Mayura Group of hotels called Hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari, (Govt of Karnataka undertaking) at Kamalapur (near Hampi) – PIN: 583221, Tel: 08394 – 241474/ 241574
We took lunch here and the rooms start from Rs 450. The ambiance is very nice.

Thanks to Dr R.S.Naagarazan (rs_naagarazan@yahoo.co.in) for this added information:

We actually stayed in Manthralayam and worshipped Sri Raghavendra. After a day’s stay there, we arranged a van and reached Anegunthi through Sindhanur, Gangawati and it took three hours, for 170 km route. At Anegunthi, we have to purchase the tickets for archanai at Nava Brindavanam (Thulasi archanai, honey abishekam etc.) We crossed the river Thungabadra through a motor boat on payment.(parisal was in the past). We have to light 11 ghee lamps there, one to the Hanumar and the remaining in the Ranganathar temple. We performed sankalpa through the priest and went round nine times and meditated. It was a nice experience.

Pannaga Travels (Mr E Sambasiva), near Pannaga Hotel, Manthralayam 518 345 arranged our travel to NavaBrindavanand back. Very courteous and good guidance was given. Cell Nos: 09704414178 and 09885247398. We started at 5 a.m. and reached there at 8.45 a.m., present at nava brundavanam between 9 and 11 a.m. took lunch at Raghavendra Swami mutt (we have to inform them in advance). Hoova cafe (run by vaishnavas) and other hotels are available to get South Indian food. We returned to Manthralayam by 4 p.m.

There is a temple of Goddess Lakshmi at Kallur on the route (slight detour inside @ 10 km). For want of time we could not go there but prayed Her mentally seeking blessings.

Nava Brundavan tour was really divine, especially when we remind ourselves that this is the place where Rama and Anjaneya once glorified.

Update from our Mar 2022 Trip:

During our Mar 2022 trip, we stayed at Hampi and took the coracle ride from Hampi side. It was aradhana time at Nava Brindavan and our visit luckily and unknowingly coincided with the first day of the aradhana (for Sri Suseendhra Theerthar, Guru of Sri Raghavendhra). The present pontiff of Manthralayam Sri Raghavendhra Mutt graced the occasion. We again met and got his blessings at Manthralaya two days later.
20. Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji of Manthralayam 5b.Sri Vyasa Rajar
On the night of 17th/18th July 2019, a group of miscreants (one of them was a history professor/ historian!) vandalised the Brindavana of Sri Vyasaraja Theerthar but could not succeed. This shocked the Madhwa community and other devotees but immediately in the morning they assembled and brought back the Brindavan to its old form within dusk. Since then, grill gates have been installed around the Nava Brindavana.

  8. I have visited the holy place in July 2005. I have started the journey from Bangalore to Hospet by Hampi Express. It is very convenient. After booking a room in the hotel we engaged a car and then proceed to Anegundi and then by boat to Brindavan. After the visit, I have been blessed by the mahans in my day to day life. Every day I have reading the Nava Brindavanam Slogams in my daily Poojas. Every Hindu should visit this place at least once in their life time, then only they realise the power of the place. Here I wants to mention one thing, i.e we have seen the Sabari”s padham nearby in the hills of the Ramayana Period.

  9. Excellent information given by you….this would really help people like us who stay miles apart in far off destinations and striving to be blessed by GOD…Heartfelt thanks to you raju…

  10. Raju…this is really an excellent piece of info which you have posted. This would really help people like us from far off places who would like to have the blessings of GOD

  11. dear all,

we(I and my two friends) had been to mantralayam, navabrindavan and hampi last week………..i had been to navabrindavan earlier too in 2004.
But this time with this blogs input i got motivated to visit again and get blessed by eternally living saints.
Its very memorable and interesting as i we drove to mantralayam from chennai by road and reached by 8 pm on wednesday(10th august) and had darshan by 9 pm exactly on closing time and again on thursday morining.s
Both darshans we had for long duration.
we checked with few people of mutt as all advised not to go to navabrindavan as tungabhadra is so ferocious with copious water flow and current.
But we proceeded to Nava brindavan to give a faithfull try. and reached by 2 pm on thursday.
we checked with raghavendra mutt and they told that boat was not operated for more than ten days due heavy water flow..But with blessing of the saints we got the boat operated by 3 pm with the help of energetic guide(we came to know only after some time) and had our darshan followed by memorable visits to many temples and historic places in anengudhi and hampi.
I wanted to share the information about the energetic youth, a physically challenged person who is very courteous and very informative about the places around.(Manjunath 09449284490,09449653598)

While we were sitting and starring the empty boats on the bank of the gushing river looking forward to have darshan at navabrindavan praying sincerely and we experienced the prayers being addressed.

The young man helped us in having darshan followed by food after darshan and visit to historic places in anengudhi and hampi the following day. we had our darshan with chanting of navabrindavan slokas played by him recorded in his mobile……….the feelings
    cannot be expressed in words.

i thank mr.Raju and other contributors in this blog for the valued info.

  12. Hare Krishna,

  18. I found this article very useful while planning my Nava Brindavan and Mantralayam trip. Thanks all for your precious inputs. I have a few points to share too.. We visited relatives in Hubli and proceeded by train to Hospet and stayed in Hospet overnight. Next morning we took a cab to Nava Brindavan. Initially we were told it was not possible to visit the brindavan since the water level in tungabhadra river was very high. After waiting for few hours, we took the risk and visited the brindavan. Mr Manjunath the guide offered very courteous service and arranged our meals. As the water levels were high, we got down on the opposite side ( i.e from where Ramzanamma operates parisal) and asked our cab to wait there. The cab had to travel abt 40 kms round to pick us. We were told to avoid travel in August and September due to high water levels. Thankfully we returned back safe and took the night train Haripriya express to mantralayam road station. The train arrives at Hospet at 10 PM and reaches mantralayam road at abt 3.30 AM. we found autos and state transport buses available even at that hour to take us to mantralayam. After having darshan we returned by Chennai Mail. A weekend trip to both places is possible from chennai if proper train links are used.if anyone requires more info abt my trip, I will be happy to answer through email (pavisatish@rediffmail.com).

  19. I would like to go to mantralayam and navabrindavanam in the next month.i have three holidays on next month is it possible to go there and visit two places and return to chennai plz guide me

    • You are talking about covering more than 1300 KMs in 3 days. It is too aggressive if you are planning to go by bus/train/cab. Note that that this is rainy season – If there is too much water inflow in Tungabhadra river you may not be able to visit NavaBrindavanam (boat travel to NB may not be available). Please with Raghavendra Mutt before starting to NB

  20. Raghavendra trust arranges tour to NavaBrindavan, Hampi,
Mantrayaalaya, and more places around this area for 4 to 5 days. They
also arrange for Puja at NavaBrindavanam and bath at Tungabhadra.
Their details usually appear in the last page of Kumudam Jothidam( the
ad appears roughly once a month).

My parents went in this tour and gave a very good feedback about how
the tour has been organized ; Cost was around Rs 4000 per head for the tour starting from Coimbatore when my parents went about 3 months ago. They take care of accomodation/food /travel,bus etc.

The address of the trust is given below:
    221, New scheme Road,

The tourists will be coming to Bangalore from Coimbatore in the noon/evening time and will catch the train to Hampi(or Hospet not sure what the right destination) in the night.

Please note that you could also join the tour midway. Suppose if you are from Bangalore/Chennai you have the option to join the tourist at the Bangalore railway station and if you are from Hyderabad, check if you have provision to join the tourists at Guntakal. Tour Fare will be reduced from the cost per head based on where you join the tour if you are joining the tour midway. My parents usually talk to Coimbatore Cell number and talk to a person named “Mohanasundaram”.

Note that tour trip is subjected to cancellation if the weather is not good.

  21. This is a very good & sacred place. I had the oppourtunity to visit NB 3 times so far. For the benefit of travellers to NB, here is a route where you can drive down from Hospet to Anegundi. I travelled by this route only, all 3 times.

    1) From Hospet, take the Hubli route.
    2) After crossing the TB dam bridges, about 3-4 kms, take the Munirabad road (Landmark – Arch at the start of teh road, towards your right), pointing towards right. Take that right.
    3) From this point it is about 17-20 kms to Anegundi. Enquire anyone, you will be directed.
    4) Reach Anegundi & stay in Ragavendra Mutt accomodation (if you have booked in advance).

  22. i find a rare write up with details of mob nos. hotels., transport arrangements etc., besides fotos of stay. Even the mutt or authorities don’t give enough details. Thanks a lot. God Bless You.

  25. Thanks Raju…the information is very much appropriate and use full…Wish you will be providing same sort of info on the other places….Good Luck

  26. By God’s grace I had a chance to visit NavaBrindavanam yesterday. Thanks for the quality information on this webpage. I was afraid to travel alone – I dont know Kannada or Hindi and I was worried about how to ask others for information regarding the way to Anegundi during the trip . The information provided in this webpage guided me very well.

A piece of suggestion here – better start early and try to reach the Nava Brindavanam before 9:00 am just to give yourself sufficient time to do archanai , have a good view of Tungabhadra and spent a quality time worshipping the NavaBrindavanam. I personally felt that temperature increased slowly as the day progressed. One is not supposed to touch or go very near to the Brindavanams.

Through Hoova Cafe( 1 or 2 houses away from Raghavendra Mutt) I hired an auto for Rs 250 to visit Chinthamani , Pamba Sarovar, Durga fort and Anjana Parvath. My trip to Anjana Parvath (Lord Hanuman’s birth place) was really testing my strength. Roughly there were about 500 to 700 steps up the hill and it did really test my strength and will. It required lot of chanting of Rama nama, water and cool drink all the way along to get to the top of the hill. ( I was sweating a lot and I was scared whether I will reach the top or not). My father advised me that I should have planned for a stay at Raghavendra Mutt. After the trip I feel that it would have been a better choice since it would have given me more time at NavaBrindavanam.

  27. The Complete history given in was very useful for me. By His Grace, we had wonderful dharshan of nava Brindhavan (more than expected). As suggested by the Raghvendra Mutt, from Hospet, we took a Bus to Hulgi (16 Kms- Rs 12) -40 mts journey and another Bus to Anagundhi (another 15 Kms -14 Rs- 40 Mts Journey) which is the shortest route without Boat ride to Anegundhi. Stay at Raghvendra Mutt was very comfortable.

  28. I visited Nava Brindavan with my family in August. Your information was of immense help for my visit. This website is an excellent resource for visiting many religious places.

  29. Your Travel details are excellent. we are planning to visit Hampi/Navabrindavana in Dec and our plan is to stay there for 2 days. This is very informative.

  30. Dear Raju!
Excellent work! Superfine photo quality besides
description. Your clear photos impressed me to
step in to look others. In your photo group, (IMG 3314)A mother and Son or Brother and Sister or Husband and Wife! crossing through the ATHISHTANAM IS INCORRECT MOVE! To avoid this, the Yellow border is drawn around. Please put a tag with caution for not crossing through!

I used to travel earlier but now, after bypass surgery, I have reduced my travel. But also I hope to visit Humpi, Manthralaya, Navbnrindavanam and lapakshi by God’s grace!

    God bless you
    with regards,
    L.JAIRAJ

  31. Very good information about navavrindavana and other places arround. I had been many times to yanthrodaraka anjaneya temple but due to lack of time i used to skip this navavrindavana. Next time i will make itup.

  32. Dear Sir,
It is very useful and you have done a good thing to circulate this message, you may be blessed by the saints of Nvabrindavans. I have visited the Navabrindavanm in the month of Juny 2006. 34. Dear Raju,
Congratulations to your very interesting write up
i am from salem i visited NAVABRINDHAVAN really they was very suberb experience which cannot be expossed by words. The vibrations of the NAVABRINDHAVAN should experience by the people who beleive in god, without fail. The people , who wants a spritual touch experience without yoga, thiyanam & manthra jabam etc , must visit there. you did a good thing that you publish it. great service to all those who intend to go to worship at those sacred places. In fact you have made it look so simple that anybody would be tempted to go there

  35. Excellent. Thank you sir for giving the
quantitative information about the Holy Nava brindhavan.

    with prayers and regards. PADMANABAN.S
    TIRUTHURAIPUNDI.

  36. thanks for the spirual knowledge any more information regarding lod hunaman plz forward me thanks a lot ANNA

  37. Dear Raju, Congratulations to your very interesting write up. Recently our family members had been there. We actually stayed in Manthralayam and worshipped Raghavendrar. After a day’s stay here, we arranged a van and reached Anegunthi through Sindhanur, Gangawati and it took three hours, for 170 km route. At Anegunthi, we have to purchase the tickets for archanai at Nava Brindavanam (Thulasi archanai, honey abishekam etc.) We crossed the river Thungabadra through a motor boat on payment.(parisal was in the past). We have to light 11 ghee lamps there, one to the Hanuman and the remaining in the Ranganathar temple. We performed sankalpa through the priest and went round nine times and meditated. It was a nice experience.
Pannaga Travels (Mr E Sambasiva), near Pannaga Hotel, Manthralayam 518 345 arranged our travel to NB and back. Very courteous and good guidance was given. Cell Nos: 09704414178 and 09885247398 We started at 5 a.m. and reached there at 8.45 a.m., present at nava brundavanam between 9 and 11 a.m. took lunch at Raghavendra Swami mutt (we have to inform them in advance). Hoova cafe (run by vaishnavas) and other hotels are available to get South Indian food. We returned Manthralayam by 4 p.m.

  38. Sir
We have booked the ticket for mantralayam & planning to go navabrindavanam this weekend. Thanks for your gr8 article.

  39. sir,
your travelogue has truly inspired me to visit navabrindavan this summer along with my family. may God bless one and all.

Excellent Yathra guide to Nava Brindhavan.
I too came to know about this sacred place through Kumudam Jothidam by Shri.AMR.

Am planning to have a Dharshan of Nava Brindhavan by God’s Grace.

Thanks a lot both of you.

    JAI SHREE RAM

  41. Based on your guidance I visited this place last week. Couple of points to add. Route no 3(Shortest route) proceed from Hospet to Hampi. AFter 6 Kms you get a left turn to Hampi. Dont take that left proceed straight and you get Kamalapur, Proceed again straight tou get THALARGAHTTA gate. From there there are couple of right and left but keep watching to your left where you will find a board indicating Nava Brindavanam. This road leads you to
the Boat(Parisal) point. Here the boat is operated by a lady by name Ramzanamma. Call her on 08394204380 before going there.

  42. I have visted Navabrindavanam during July 2006 from Chennai to Bangalore and Bangalore to ANEGUNDI via HOSPET and stayed there for 2 days. I fell the darshans as a life ambition and every one should visit with clean heart and they will get a lot of benefits.
